Retail and Wholesale Orchard and Winery featuring pre-picked or Pick Your Own Fruits and Vegetables. We grow Apples, Peaches, Pears, Cherries, Plums, Blackberries, Raspberries, Seasonal vegetables, and supply locally grown fruit and produce from other LOCAL growers.
Our market specializes in Land of Kansas products. We are a fruit winery with more than two dozen labels of homemade wines available.
Our Facility is set up for hosting outdoor events typically of the warm weather / picnic variety. The location includes the production orchards and fields, packing/processing facility, retail market, playground, three ponds and lots of open area for just relaxing. We are available for guided or self guided tours either walking or we always have the old tractors and hay rides ready. We are handicap accessible in most areas. Catering services are available.
We grow several acres of PUMPKINS and related seasonal items and have pick your own pumpkins and a corn maze for the Halloween season. The five weekend leading up to Halloween feature Horse drawn Rides to the Orchard and Pumpkin patch for special Family fun and pick your own memories.. The second weekend of October is our Fall Festival and the Franklin County Farm Tour with lots of extra activities and vendors at the orchard.
We are located on 80 acres at exit 176 on I-35 about 40 minutes from Kansas City. (785) 746-5492
Business hours are 10 to 5 Monday through Saturday, and 12 to 5 on Sunday. During daylight savings time we extend our hours to 6 p.m.

Smoky Hill Bison's Maze and Pumpkin Patch is held during late September and October on the Bison Farm, a working buffalo ranch. It is located between Salina and Lindsborg Kansas off of I-135, either exit 78 or 82. Besides fall activities you can also ride the prairie tram to see the buffalo herd. We also have covered wagon rides, Spookley's Play Patch for little kids, bale and rope mazes, corn cannon, pumpkin sling shot, trebuchet, pumpkin catapult, day and night mazes. We host school field trips, motor coach bus groups during the whole month of October. Food concessions available on weekends. Gift shop open year round. |
